Bravery Is Not Everything

To my friends that I hold dear,
I will shed my first tear.
Bravery isn't everything
with what the future soon may bring

Never again to take a life,
toil, hardship, slavery, strife.
Bravery isn't a wheel of hope,
it leaves you barren, with nothing to cope.

Bravery isn't everything,
there's time to laugh and joy to bring.
Never to be feared once more.
This bravery shown,

and nothing more.

yeah, my friend finally got really annoyed at me after I sent her this one. I had been sending people poems ALL DAY, waiting for a response to the one I had given to the boy I liked.

It was originally longer, but I edited it because It was only sent to my closest of friends to read. Bits have been cut out for personal composure.

I don't know. But It shows that on all of my stuff, including the ones that have comments on them. It is confusing.

Who needs years. I was glad a few days later that I actually had got up enough guts to give him the original poem in the first place. (Pity I can't remember what I wrote for that.)
