Deeper
Deeper
Into my flesh
Digging
Ripping
Consuming my pain
Again
And again
And again
Red life
Flows from my wrists
Liquid demons
Of pain and fear
Relinquished
Lines
And lines
And lines
Of love
Of deaths forgotten
Of fear bequeathed
Deeper
Deeper
Into my flesh
Digging
Ripping
Consuming my unease
Again
And again
And again
And again
Faster
Deeper
Repetitive motions
Moving
Breathing
Alive
Waves
In this sea of crimson
Illuminated by moonlight
This sweet
Sweet
Night
Red life
Flows from my wrists
All unease relinquished
Ecstasy established
Again
And again
And again
I cry
Tears stained crimson
As they flow away
Down the drain
Washing away
My fear
My pain
My unease
My strife…
My life
My crimson, moonlit life.
