I feel wrapped around
me, every whisper that slips
between and in.
In all my wild struggles I
find there is only one to tame me.
And when those lips begin
to fade, I bring you closer
which is never close enough.
I want to know what is within
you, and everything you know
yourself to be.
you give me moons and daises,
rainbows and lightening.
It gets dark inside this heart
but you hold a candle
to it.
It breaks but you save the pieces
and build it bigger, stronger.
I am no woman but your own,
No child but the one you hold.
