We were neon
Electric lovers in blue twilight
Like passionate candles dancing
Glowing, Glowing into the night.
Desert worn and weary
We stood beneath vacant skies
Street signs on highways to nowhere
Halos - Beacons to sleepless eyes.
We woke as shaman.
The Navajo moon - perfect - calm
Coyotes howl - synthetic
Drums beating to peyote dawn
