All the words to say are spoken
While memories of good times,
All lie dead and broken
By happenstance we part our ways
And say goodbye to better days
I’ll add you to my list
Offmy old friends that will be missed
Leave me alone
Become nothing more than a talk on a phone
Lie to me and say “Keep in touch”
I guess the world just works as such
From the moment that our friendship started
It was destined to be lost
Why is it that such a basic relation,
Should come at such high cost
Now without your company,
I find hobbies to replace you
Waiting for time to take its course
And from my memory erase you
