Why are you so negative, lark?

Why do you sing so out of tune?

Be like the nightengale -

Sing soft and sweet for all to hear.

Why are you so viscious lion?

Why are you so hot tempered?

Be like the house cat,

Be a companion; do not snap at others.

Why are you so shy, young puppy?

Why do you cower away from all things good?

Be like your ancestor, the wolf,

Strong and brave; willing and free.

Why are you so stubborn, tame horse?

WHy do you resist against good intentions?

Be like your cousin, the wild stallions,

Run free; care not of anything.

And why are you like the lark, the lion, the puppy, and the stallion, human?

Why are you so negative?

Why are you so hot tempered?

Why are you so shy?

And why are you so stubborn?
