The rainbow shoulders me, vibrant and encased with hope,
A lone man shields his laptop beneath his finest umbrella,
Raindrops play chase upon my unkissed lips,
And the wind whispers in my closed ears.
Crackling firesparks dance in my eyes ,
My coffee settles my quickening pulse,
Just born dreams awaken in the dimly lit bar,
Cigerette smoke tickles my fantasies.
At my right sit wrinkled, hardened men,
At my left sit beautiful, college queens,
Here I sit a Mum of two and friend of many,
We all taste the unwritten and unspoken.
