christina, you were my goddess,

if had held you in arms for one day,

i would have spoke of my love in so many ways

your four ounce bottle of coke, sipped with those puppy dog lips,

remembering your beauty makes me sick.

i followed your footsteps, i stared at you in awe,

i cherished the smiles you flashed me, as you walked down the hall.

you put up your shield when i got too close,

what were you hiding from me, when i needed you most?

beauty bethroned you, fate had her chance,

emptiness clasped your hands in eternal slowdance.

i told him to leave you alone, that is the truth.

but all i received for my trouble was a chipped right tooth.

you barely noticed me, christina - and i no longer cared.
