Well... just wrote it a few minutes ago.

Your back eclipses the sunset,
Casting me in darkness.
The stars turn their backs on me
And I feel so hopeless.

Goodby… Goodbye was for the best.
But I still fell the cost.
The only light left is my flickering hope.
Even that is almost lost.

I run, in a desperated attempt
To hold you one last moment.
Running, stumbling, falling, reaching out,
Seeking atonement.

You fade away and another comes.
He stands there, unmoving.
I come closer, cautious and scared.
"Who are you fooling?"

He speaks harshly, shaking his head.
I stop. Let him speak.
"You coward. You stupid creature"
"Why are you so weak?"

My heart lurches in my chest. I know him.
And as I fight the urge to cry,
I reach out for his shoulder and he turns
So that I can look myself in the eye.
