I'm sitting, happy with my lot in life,
Relaxing, smiling, and enjoying what
Was given to me. No evil or strife
Is mine; my life from flowing silk was cut.
To me no poverty has been given,
A pride of mine has always been my health,
Yet on my heart a longing has stricken.
For now I crave a soulful kind of wealth.
I could live life without a dollar more.
To live like I do now would be just fine.
But nonetheless, unto God I implore
His blessing and His help for love to find.
Though living like a King no doubt is bliss,
Wealth is for nought without a lover's kiss.
