Poem By: Jason George
Poetry

I wrote this after I read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was one of my very first poems. Enjoy! View table of contents...

When my Godfather fell,
I didn't take to it well.
I wanted to know what was
Beyond the Veil
As tears filled my eyes,
I thought in surprise.
I want to know what is
Beyond the Veil

Beyond the dirty,
Ragged veil
Is a demise that waits.
Beyond the dirty,
Ragged veil
Is a deadly fate.

As the rag takes away
The thoughts in my head,
I have to know what is
Beyond the Veil
When Dumbledore said
That Sirius was dead,
I had to know what was
Beyond the Veil.

Beyond the dirty,
Ragged veil
Is a demise that waits.
Beyond the dirty,
Ragged veil
Is a deadly fate.

Would I ever
Solve the case,
As to what was
Beyond the Veil?
Would I ever see
Sirius again,
If I found out what was
Beyond the Veil?

Beyond the dirty,
Ragged veil
Is a demise that waits.
Beyond the dirty,
Ragged veil
Is a deadly fate.

Thank you very much, Alice. I appreciate your enthusiasm. :)

This is pretty good for a first poem. I think you captured Harry's feelings on the matter very well. Well, as well as I would think. Or something...haha sorry. Sometimes I get a little lost. I hope you get what I mean. Good job anyway!
