Life Underwater - (Wyz)

Poetry By: Jayson Wyz

Middle school assignment, had to write a poem on Ocean Life.
Even just after writing it, I wasn't really happy with it, but had a hard time concentrating on the subject.

I swim far.

I swim deep.

I see fish swim by,

Two, three, four, five,

It a whole school.

Fish then swim from the other side.

I suddenly feel hungry.

I search for an unsuspecting victim.

I swim near it,

Open my mouth,

And swing my head to catch it.

Maybe next time.

I must now return to the surface.

I need more air.

I take a breath and swim some more.

I am a dolphin.
