Better Love (Dawn's Song IV)

Poetry By: Jaywrite44

My dear friend made a simple statement to me in response to "The Woman I Need", and it got me thinking.....

There's someone I know,
And she needs better love.
I know she's an angel,
Sent from Heaven above.

Her kindness beyond measure;
Her beauty beyond compare.
The love she offers is true,
The hand she was dealt, unfair.

She needs someone to hold her,
And tell her all is right.
A gentle love through the day,
And fiery passion through the night.

But, alas, no Prince Charming,
For these are not fairy tales.
I cannot write away the pain;
It is here that my pen fails.

The most I can provide,
Unconditional love and friendship true.
To bring your smile I long to see,
I hope my offer will do.
