Silence fell and broke the glass,
and spilled our love all out.
An ending song slowly drifts away,
telling our lives what it's about.
A candle stick that's dripping wax,
poured itself all out for you.
But a burning man that's in the rain,
still won't know what to do.
That ending song wraps back around,
to sing a tune in your ear.
While all alone you begin to cry,
even though I hold you near.
Broken glass that once held our love,
lays shattered on the floor
And a candle stick that dripped the wax,
silently offers you even more.
A lonely tear falling down your cheek,
splashes down on the glass.
And fills our love in the empty space,
so that ending song may pass.
