They say that these stars,
always shine so bright.
They help guide us through,
the darkest of night.
Even when those stars,
have to fade away.
Their light will shine on me,
until my final day.
We look upon those stars,
to find our way when it's dark.
They will always be there,
for they have left their mark.
When I close my eyes,
the light still shines through.
Even during the darkest of days,
I know the light is really you.
You may fade through the years,
you may dim toward the end.
But when I close my eyes,
I know,
your light,
you will always send.
