Geographical Will
© Jeff Shumate 2009
I don't belong here, where is my home?
I can't go back it's no longer there, but where?
I know it's not here, no comfort in bed,
Ahh! Here's a place to lay my head!
I don't belong here; I don't belong.
Where should I be?
It's not right for me!
Ahh! Here's a place to lay my head.
I don't belong here; I don't belong.
Something's a little off, not quite right.
I can't get cozy; I can't get warm.
A slight groan in my soul, a longing for thee!
I look to the day,
When it may be,
Oh sweet Jesus, He will say, that fine day:
Come on my child, come this way!
I'll no longer roam; I'll always be home!
I'll always be home!
