A poetic understanding of my short (and unfinished) story of the similar name.

The Hole in My Eyes
My eyes are insane,
Only because I see
The hole in my brain.
Let me be free.
A spasm of light
Sparks the eyeballs,
Sad with fright,
It begins, evil calls.
Simply put,
There is no gain,
Painful, yet
Just a migraine.
If this world saw,
It would cry and fall,
And try to claw
A hole in the wall.
My face is dumb,
Because the disease
Creates all this numb.
Oh god, oh please.
Simply put,
There is no pain,
Beautiful, yet
Just a migraine.
