I know that it's coming
So I put a smile on my face
Take a seat in front of you
And watch you start to pace
The first round of swear words
Of empty threats and insults
He brings up how he’d been cheating
And how it's all my fault
The second round of swear words
His hands wave in abusive tone
Telling me that I mean nothing
And he hopes I die alone
The third round of swear words
I wonder why the hell im here
Why I let it get to this
And why I sit in fear
So on the fourth round of swear words
I stand up from my seat
Look straight into his twisted eyes
And refuse defeat
Your words they hit harder
Than any fist of yours could do
But I would rather a painful death
Than submit to you
I care not that your hurting now
I care not that you cry
Ive taken enough shit from you
To know it's all a lie
So I will walk out that front door
And I will not look back
I will not stand for one more word
Im not your punching bag
As I here the door click shut behind me
I step into the light
And I feel my heart pounding
For I know ive won this fight
I say this to all people
Who feel they are forced to stay
Be the stronger person
And have the guts to walk away
