I was sitting at a moonlit beach
observing silver water when I saw a gal in peach
Her face looked beautiful in silvery grace
the beauty so beautiful heavens did embrace
She was Cinderella of the popular tale
waiting since years for her lover's mail
She started telling me her lovely story
her blush itself gave away her love's glory
"I was just seven" she said
"When I first discovered beauty of love sleeping in my bed
It was dream full of charm
my prince visited me, i feared no harm
I waited waited and waited for so long
my dreams grew with me along
my faith had started dwindling
when i first saw my king
He was standing round the corner of the street
he made me angry on our first official meet
we got into a fight so discreet
I wished we had never meet
his mails approached me with a sorry
but i was lost in my self esteem's glory
We eventually though became friends
our friendship turned in love as is the usual trend
the feeling of love oh! it was divine
as addictive as red vine
It was when we first broke into a fight
when my memory threw light over the forgotten bright
Oh yes! i found out it was the same boy
who used to be my dream guy
I had no words then to thank my fate
I had got the map to enter heavens gate
we were enjoying fruits of love together
when came a day cursed rather
our well wishers separated us for my sake
It was like they were baking me as a cake
He then promised to always stand by my side
there was an emotion i had to but couldn't hide
I knew i had to leave for him to be happy
I stepped aside
when i knew he needed me by his side
But still here i am waiting for his mail
begging god to pardon my crime on bail
His love is no less i must confess
he's like me sacrificing his love i guess"
With this a tear oozed out of the gals eye
she wanted to be alone it was a silent goodbye
