A hopeless romantic is mesmerized by the love of their life as they recall the ways they loved their soul mate.

I know the way you wear your hair.
I remember how I used to stare.
I love how I loved you.
--
I remember the way you used to smile.
I know how much I liked your style.
I miss how I loved you.
--
I know the way you used to smell.
I still remember it so well.
I cherish the moments we loved.
--
I remember the way you used to dress.
I still think about how I'd caress,
your beautiful body.. and making love?
Oh how I loved you.
--
I remember the way we used to dream.
I think about how we'd make it seem
that we could have a life together
and I love the way I loved you.
--
I remember drawing a picture of you.
I still think about the things we'd do
just to have one more moment alone.
I embrace the way I loved you.
--
I remember everyday, your voice
I think of you often. I have no choice.
I loved the way we loved.
--
I think about you and I want to cry.
I remember asking myself why
it hurts so much to say goodbye.
And I remember how much I love you.
--
My heart was empty. My life was blue.
I fell in love, what could I do?
I'll say this one last time...
it's true...
--
I'll never forget
the way you loved me...
I love you
