A man contemplates suicide and then makes the decision to live.

I stand atop a building strong.
To this world do I belong?
My thoughts wander as I find my bearing
and watch the world.. uncaring,
selfish, Godless, get out of my way
don't spoil my day!
I'm more important than you!
I have too much to do!
Don't look at me that way!
I won't listen to what you say!
This life belongs to me.
I see the things I want to see,
through rose colored glass.
Everyone can kiss my ass.
Yes, this world is mine.
I'm doing fine.
I won't jump today.
I can say what I want to say!
There's too much life to live,
too many things to give,
too many to panhandle to,
too many to save...
Yes! I'll be the one who saves a baby,
who gives a dollar to a homeless lady.
I'll live it, leave it, believe it!
I'll take my spirit and cast it to the wind today,
climb from this ledge and say,
giving up, I will not do.
I'm not going to leave this way.
I'll fight on against the tide.
I'll make it a jolly ride!
Somehow I'll really miss it all,
one day, not today; today .... I live...
