The winds of life are changing.
The air today grows colder.
Not long ago you walked away.
My heart? A little older.
The things that meant the most to me
left in my soul, much pain.
Without you in my arms my love
my life's a void again.
To hear your name melts the ice
that's engulfed the depths of time.
To hold your hand would be so nice
if only you were mine.
I'd give you the affection you desperately need.
I'd take you to the moon.
If it's love you lack, I'd plant the seed.
I'd sing your favorite tune.
For you my love,
take my hand,
forever I will go,
a million miles,
I'd even walk.
Please babe,
don't say no.
'cause you and I have shared a love
that few shall ever find.
Romance that nearly all will miss,
a love that lifts mankind,
out of the dregs,
and pits of sorrow,
away from all the pain.
t regenerates hearts and minds
and offers hope again.
Let our love
be a beacon of light
for all to emulate.
Come back to me.
I'll wait my love.
I'll leave open - the gate
to my heart,
and in your hands,
you'll always hold the key.
For ever and a day my dear,
I'll wait for you and me.
