From this seat I can see the world...

From this seat,

I can see the world.

God's power and glory,

By few words unfurled.

A beautiful story,

Of sadness and truth,

From our sin

God set loose.

Till the earth,

Plant it deep,

God's original promise

He will always keep.

In sweat and blood

You will plow and sow,

From this day forward,

Till the end of all you know.

So here I sit,

Six thousand years later,

A son of man,

Fighting weeds and weather.

But, in my life

God looked down and took pity,

In a factory far from the city,

Where diesel motor and tires produced,

The tractor upon whose seat I roost.
