_Young Love_

Poetry By: Jo94

Young Love from a girl's point of view. How you think you love someone, but then they change. They play games with you, and she won't take it any longer.

Young Love

He smiles at me

the kind of smile that make me want to buckle at the knees

Why does he keep playing these games?

I thought we were one in the same.

You disappointed me, entirely.

So not together we will be.

I guess I was wrong.

But I'll still be strong, and I'll keep singing my song.

How could you do it?

Why were you so prone to quit?

I hate you for it, but why am I still here?

Even though I'm still pouring tears.

I'm done with the games.

Nothing has changed.

You're still the same.

Who's to blame?

No one, we weren't destined for each other.

So I'll sing another.
