Hi, folks! This poem is about Tern, a boy who loves playing video games. But one day, his consoles get ruined. He then decides to go outside and make a friend.

We Meet

alt

Need not frown, I made a friend today

Her name is Fabiola, and she loves to play

We play tag, soccer

And discover new flowers

See? Mother told me. There's things to to, lad

Even when you've lost something you once had

On vacation

I forgot to shut my window

The playstation

And my beloved Nintendo

Got ruined in the rain

That was, a disaster and pain

Need not frown, I made a friend today

Her name is Fabiola, and she loves to play

We play tag, soccer

And discover new flowers

See? Mother told me. There's things to do, lad

Even when you've lost something you once had

Tight budget

Maybe another one next year

What is there to do? I ask my mommy with a tear

She said:

There's a girl at the park every day

Whey don't you say hi to her today?

Need not frown, I made a friend today

Her name is Fabiola, and she loves to play

We play tag, soccer

And discover new flowers

See? Mother told me. There's things to do lad,

Even when you've lost something you once had.

Thus, Fabiola and I, we meet.
