As I look out upon the rain.
Tumbling down, it is my gain.
Putting smiles upon our faces.
But it's falling in all the wrong places.
The rain it goes, down the drain.
Causing the farmers a look of pain.
Knowing that this will all be lost.
Can we really afford the cost.
The farms are in a worrisome sight.
We cannot just ignore their plight.
If we look and turn our eyes away.
Then we are the ones that will have to pay.
No dams was the cry of the few.
And a ground swell quickly grew.
But this is not the best for us.
If no dams are built, we'll soon all be dust.
