“Let’s part together as friends.”
How fluently he spoke them.
Forgetting all shared moments.
Fruits we bore by lovemaking.
He threw me on the ground.
I am taking my last breaths.
Skin has changed from pale to dark.
He was my only hope, love and faith.
What not I did for him in love.
I grew old and lost my beauty.
You longed for a change in life.
You began quarreling on trifles. You concluded it with those words.
Soon spring will come in your touch.
Again, you will woo her by sympathy.
What a change nature has brought.
You too have learnt the tricks of men.
O! Tree, when will you overcome lust?
