A Curious Thought

This poem is built on two meaning. The first set of words before the ellipsis describe a literal sense to the meaning of the poem, while the words after the ellipsis tell a story of figurative meaning and interpretable rhetoric. View table of contents...

A Curious Thought... By: J. L. Moreaux

Storm unfurling, burning feelings.

Sent underground, hiding proceedings.
Burning underneath, angry souls.
Sheath determined, tears, burning coals.

Send us your message, The eternal abyss.
Cornered and trapped, by the things we miss.
About our hearts, waters cool the anger.
Lives determined, by the eternal hanger.

A tempter knows, the feeling shows
When you dive, into the eternal snows.
A cool feeling, brings inner healing.
Refreshed and happy, as the wounds are sealing.

Could be because I'm reading to much of magic things at the moment, but it almost seems like a spell, kind of like a chant?
It's like: The power, the magic within has been held off to long. Tucked away, hidden. Then temper strikes fresh and new and then BOOM! It's back.
Told you I've been reading too much. =) Hope I didnt scare you. =) Mandy
