a poem about being you

As days grow my motivation weakens
To stray away from everyday priorities
To stay away from all and disobey authority
Some people might label me a heathen

But I'm not all for the labels
I am who I am, I act on how I feel
U say I'm as cold as steel I say I keep it real
Feelings come from within, from all different angles

So what sort of polygon am I
Am I con caved or convex
Simple or complex
You can't look at me and say you know best

You know nothing at all
You know not how the sun rises
Or how the rain falls
Your are blind, oblivious to it all

It takes more than science
To understand the beauty that's behind it
You see it's all in your mind
Everything from context to time

Is it even real, how do I cope
Idk how to feel, maybe I should smoke
But many say its wrong, I think it's right
It's the same old song. And I'm singing it all night
