Mama

She has dark curly hair that hangs down her back,

Shining and glistening; a deep coal black.

Her hands are nimble, racing along,

The piano that creates such a sweet, lovely song.

She is kind and whole hearted, graceful and clever,

Her mark on this world will stay almost forever.

Sweet loving and caring, she is all of these,

She helps us through life with happiness and ease.

She is a mother, a wife, a daughter and a friend,

And to her is a message I would like to send:

She is the one I look up to, the one I adore,

The one I aspire to, that I love to the core.

And who is this amazing person, you may ask me?

My mother; my idol; you would be blind not to see.
