Flying Away
Where’s the point in running when you can fly away?
What’s the point in speaking when I know what you have to say?
Where’s the point in feeling if I see you everyday?
What’s the point in staying when we know there’s no way?
I look at the clouds above me hoping you’re okay.
I hear you talking to me and know you’ve thought of me each day.
I can’t help but wish upon a star,
Don’t cry because I’m not very far,
For you to be here and hold me in your arms,
I’d give anything.
I’d give anything,
To know that you’re happy,
To keep you from flying away.
My Angel
You are my angel,
Pure perfection from every angle.
I will dream of you tonight,
You make everything alright.
Kiss my pain away,
Fold your wings and tell me you’ll stay.
When the time is right,
I’ll let you take flight,
Carrying my heart in your pocket,
Who would have thought it,
Baby, you are my angel,
You
are my angel.
