My wounds are opened, hatefully torn
Some days you wish I was never born
I still remember the time you said to me
You’re ruining our lives, just leave me be

I cried
These words they hurt (you’ll never know)
I cried
I feel like dirt (pushed down low)

You pushed and shoved me around
I must’ve deserved the blame
I feel like my hands are tied and bound
I am going insane.

I cried
These words they hurt (you’ll never know)
I cried
I feel like dirt (pushed down low)

I had a horrific dream last night
I was to bruised and abused to fight
I fell down face in the dust
As you stood over me and cussed

I pull up myself
Ready for our fateful dance
You don’t care about my health
you won’t give me a chance.

I cried
These words they hurt (you’ll never know)
I cried
I feel like dirt (pushed down low)

My strength is gone
I don’t think I can move on
