It hurts when you’re together,
But it hurts more when you’re apart,
I don’t know what to tell you,
Except that either way it’s dark,
The darkness pushes down on me,
It leaves me in the shadows,
Misery seeps through the cracks,
And the smile fades away,
I’ll tell you what you want to hear,
But I can’t promise that it’s true,
Because nothing matters anymore,
Now that I’m without you.
