The spider web,
So delicate,
So fragile,
So insignificant,
I often wonder why,
The spiders sit so patently,
Watching as we pass them by,
Maybe they don’t even notice you or me,
Perhaps they’re much to busy,
So I just watch them spin their webs,
And I watch till I get dizzy,
Maybe we can’t understand,
Why they crawl so carefully,
Because they’re simply just too smart to stand,
And they know their life not painfully,
The spider knows a life too sweet,
To follow ours and get lost on the ground,
So it sits and waits for the meat,
And knows all too well that it’s free, from all that we are bound.
The spider web,
So delicate,
So fragile,
So insignificant,
And yet they are free,
Unlike you and me.
