It's raining all around me
My heart is beating fast
I'm trying to keep from hyperventilating
While I think of all the time that's passed

My clothes are drenched in water
But my skin is completely numb
I remember how warm you used to feel
Before you decided to run

You decided to run for shelter
That we weren't meant to be together
You were suddenly grew attired
And told me to adhere

So I walk on silently
And in the rain, my eye sneaks a tear
No, I don't want your sorrow
I just wanna be alone

So I'll keep walking
On this concrete road
I don't know where I'm going
But anywhere is better than here

So I'll keep on walking
Until there are no longer any tears

Until I myself, can stand tall against my fears
