Hun, You're Not Alone.

Poetry By: Keeper of Hope

I wrote this for a friend who was emitted into the emergency room this week. She has ammonia and already one and half of her lungs his filled. I really hope she gets better.

When you're weak

Just know there's somebody who'll weep

Somebody will buckle to their knee

Because Hun, we all wish you were in a different seat.

When you grow stronger

All the smiles stretch longer.

That great big sky seems much brighter;

Sweetie, you've gotta be a fighter!

When you're scared

Just know someone will be there

Someone will pull up a chair

Because Hun, we all despise that sickness you bare.

When you grow braver

The air has so much more flavor.

Those freighting shadows - no longer cold,

Sweetie, you've gotta be so bold!
