A Complex Sky

Destination weeping

A light, shafted plural, keeping

Watch over tight little lives.

Selfish hands reached but grasping

A thought, a chance but never asking

Light from a complex sky

Slow pace the heartfelt rapture

Consider, how thoughts, in simple capture

A vision of the plight

Frosted land that comes all too high

Cost often ranged as many try

In between my damn derision

Persistent in bereft belief

take oneself and drown in simple grief

seek it in the downcast lie
