Sometimes things feel so small, so short,
it feels as if it was just a moment,
just a breath,
and then it was gone.
Those seconds have turned to hours,
that I spend looking back,
wishing things were different,
that it would have worked out.
No matter what will never change,
I still hope they do,
as if the millions of tears,
could bring me near to you,
Maybe i'm not heartbroken,
just hopelessly in love,
Waiting for my chance,
needing to let go,
I feel like i'm fading,
losing all my touch,
I wish i knew,
why you mean so much,
It wasn't long enough,
It was just way to short,
Sometimes i whisper,
things you said before,
As if repeating,
would make them mean a thing,
Sometimes I wonder,
what they really mean,
I thought I saw you yesterday,
Walking out at noon,
When i finally found the face,
I was in an empty room,
Forever cursed with that impossible chance,
Waiting for you to tell me,
that i'm your princess,
You're the only one with the key,
So please, please, come back to me.
