Kissing sunshine as the sun goes down,
The shadows rise and the clouds fade away,
The end of one day,
Or the beginning of the next?
Hugging hopes as the rain falls down,
Slowly, gracefully, to the ground,
Will time stop,
And freeze the rain?
Or will the sun come out again?
Holding wonder as the tide comes in,
Touching your toes and tickling your skin,
As it recedes,
And the birds soar,
You can’t help but wonder it will come once more.
Watching gentle hands embrace,
A simple kiss, face to face,
A loving stare,
A gentle glow,
You seem to wonder what they know,
Dreaming angels floating above,
They dance around like graceful doves,
A perfect song,
A loving smile,
These are the things that make like worthwhile.
