You Didn't.

A woman begs him not to go, but he is so wrapped up in his own problems, he doesn't hear her cry. Somber.

You can leave me standing here,
in this beautiful pouring rain,
You can walk away,
And just forget my name,

Please don't.

You can take my heart into your hands,
And crush it in two,
You can push me away,
far far from you,

Please don't.

Where i trusted you and loved,
You were falling apart,
Now you want to forget it all,
Like there was no start,

Please don't.

The little mistakes we made,
Were nothing to regret,
and you stand at my doorway,
Get ready, and set,

Please don't.

The back of your blue T-Shirt,
looked so much better on the floor,
To stare at it now,
Cuts me to the core,

Please Don't.

You might think you are strong,
Strong enough to walk away,
but you have left me fragile,
in this pouring rain.

You Did.

Nothing will kill this pain,
that stabs me like knife,
All i can seem to ask is,
why?

You Did.

Someday you will realize,
this mistake that you have done,
When every morning you,
wake up alone,

You Did.

Someday you will watch the rain,
from your window sill,
and you will remember this day,
feel a gentle chill,

You Did.

How you could leave her standing there,
you will think to yourself,
you had all the time to turn around,

You didn't.
