I know I'm not a princess
And this is no fairytale
I hate Prince Charming
And how he has no cares
I don't wear glass slippers
Or glistening white dresses
I'd rather wear my high tops
And my worn out blue jeans
While dancing in the rain
Instead of at a ball
I know my Prince Charming
Isn't a prince at all
This high top Cinderella may be in her own world
But one of these days you're all gonna ask
"Why didn't I pay attention to that girl?"
