Nails and Claws, Hands and Paws

Poetry By: Km2
Poetry

I wrote this for the Happy Pictures Contest, by The Challenge Maker. About my kitty, and though it may sound as though she is dead, from reading, I actually just had to give her away when I moved and wasn't allowed cats or dogs in my new apt.

Nails and claws

Hands and paws

Alabaster skin

My little furry friend

Paw and hand

Meet in unisan

Eyes lock too

Kitty, I love you!

Claw and nail

Long fluffy tail

Whiskers and beard

Kitty, easily scared

Tooth and fang

How you sang?

Her name, Bailey

Missing her daily

Loves it outside

Two different eyes

From sight unseen

One brown, one green

Fur and hair

How you dare?

Scratch me deeply

And almost weekly

Clothed and naked

Four-pawed, four-legged

Loved you from the start

Kitty, always in my heart
