A poem about reminiscing on an old relationship

And so I sit in despair-wondering what you're doing. I can still feel your touch on my hair; the smell of your cologne lingers in the air. I wonder where you went and who you might be with, but it's not my place to ask. I lost my chance a long time ago-all we had is past. I wish I could get you off of my mind, intimate thoughts creep in from time to time. Those days spent together taking long walks and just talking about whatever-what happened to us? Tell me, love. Where did we go wrong-or were we just never meant to be? Can't we make it like it was? I can't let these thoughts creep-they leave me weak..
