And to this light where I was born
I thrust a question cold as stone.
My eyes reflect upon this world
While flowers blossomed and oceans swirled,
My question came unfurled.
The oceans so unrelenting
The land so unforgiving
The skies never-ending,
But the salty spray so cool,
The fruit so sweet
The breeze so soft.
A life is breathed upon this earth
Its fire kindled in the heavenly hearth
A life none remember but this verse.
A life that feels the spray so cool,
Tastes the fruit so sweet,
Feels the breeze so soft,
A life so soft a whisper in the breeze
That its only heard by the trees
And one that no one sees.
