Lionheart Challenge: Monkey in the Jungle

Lionheart provided me as well as many others, a challenge, which i readily accepted. I had to use five words in a poem. It isn't my favorite poem of all time, but Here we go. THe five words i had to use were

He sat eating the last of our fruit

Down by the lake

What the hell is he here for?

Leaving seeds in his wake!

The marshmallow clouds opened

The sun melts the ice thru.

Beaming rays of light like a godsend,

The scene shows true.

Like a Pyromaniac burning

Lost in his mind,

The monkey sat staring

At the last of mankind.
