What have you become?
You used to be a husband
You used to take your son to the park
Now you kill husbands wives
And shoot children in destroyed parks
… And for what?
Oh soldier. Oh, brave, brave soldier
Where are you going?
Im just going away for a while
You tell them
Ill be back soon you say
With eyes full of hate
Oh soldier. Oh brave, brave soldier
Why do you cry?
You cry in your tent
A man so strong to his fellow companions
But so used by the country
And abused by the war
Oh soldier, brave, brave soldier
Why have you died?
Left on the battlefield
No one to remember you by
The scars of war
On your lifeless face
Gives away the story
Once apon a soldier.
