Untill I learn to Love

When will Love find me?
A strange compression in my lungs
Compelling me
To cry
To care
To touch
How long must the feel elude me?
Hw much pain can I endure?
Never have I heard whispering affection
Nor the careful touch of another
Oh, how I long to love
My loneliness
My heartlessness
Why does it elude me so?
And even as my tears
Splash on ink stained paper
The illusion of emptiness remains
Bittersweet the one sided company
Harsh realities crash upon my head
Freedom is useless
Until I learn to caress
To care for
To love.
