life and death come quick. Take a chance at life, don't wilt away...

A youth was nurtured;
And as it grew, beauty surrounded it;
Buds clung to its flesh;
Roses burst like blood;
Shimmering like morning haze.
The petals wilted;
Their once luscious beauty now was crusted wounds;
The petals fell like red snow;
The rosebush was dying;
 Flowers encircled it, ever reminding;
Death was upon it;
And slowly it shriveled in the darkness.
