In the darkness I was walking away,
but you were always there,
you stood there where we left off,
waiting for my arms,
I crawled the ground thinking this,
that you have never cared,
when a light came on and you shined through,
I found my way back to you,
You had been waiting for me,
treated me like something great,
how can that possibly be?
You were always a good friend,
I just didn't understand,
but the darkness I will go no more,
and you will know I am so sure,
to the light I will ascend
