Booksie Dad

Poetry By: Lady Wolf

Tags: Cyber, Dad

There have been a few people who have been with me since the first novel I placed on Booksie. Brian W has been a constant supporter and friend. I'm so grateful for everything he has done for me.

Who can explain the word father to us?

In a language that everyone can understand?

Who can show what it means to love someone?

Though in real life, you've never taken their hand?

A father is one who never waits to praise you,

Or tell you when you can improve.

A father is someone who listens daily,

And never hesitates to be true.

Support and time are his weapons,

Caring is his shield.

Love no matter what the cost,

With kindness that never seems to yield.

Though I've never touched his face,

Or heard his voice offer me praise,

I know in Brian I have a friend,

Whose a confidant with no end.

So thank you to the one who has been there through good and bad,

I am eternally grateful to my Booksie Dad.
